UPDATE: 2012/13 Healthy Work Environments Partnership and Innovation Fund

Please be informed that the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has completed the review and selection process for eligible projects under the 2012/13 HWE Partnership and Innovation Fund.

Successful applicants were informed on December 17, 2012 via e-mail to the Chair and Chief Executive Office or Executive Director of organizations.

Unsuccessful applicants were informed on December 19, 2012 via e-mail to the person who was listed as the primary contact on the application.

The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is pleased to announce the 2012-13 Healthy Work Environments (HWE) Partnership and Innovation Fund as part of the Ministry's HWE initiative.

Ontario's Action Plan for Health Care places a priority on delivering the right care, at the right time, in the right place.  This Fund reinforces this goal by supporting healthy and safe work environments for health care workers, enabling them to maximize their potential and deliver high quality patient care.

Building linkages and sharing knowledge are essential to the Fund.  As such, applications for funding must include a partnership between a minimum of two organizations.  Applications will be accepted from the lead organization.

Successful applicants may receive up to $250,000 in funding for their project.

The ministry will be accepting applications from all health care delivery organizations in Ontario, including:

• Acute care
• Long-term care
• Home and community care
• Primary care
• Public health
• Other health care sectors

The closing date and time for all applications in 5:00 p.m. EDT, October 12, 2012.
